This listing is for lovely, ivory, 100% China silk / Habotai. It is 54" wide, new, unwashed, and cut straight off the bolt.

This fabric is beautiful for apparel sewing and is also suitable for nuno felting, though we don't recommend it for beginners. In the last photo you can see a scarf that we felted using this silk in the color 'navy'.
Because we do not offer swatches of this fabric, we recommend purchasing a quarter yard. A quarter yard piece will be 9", by the full width of the fabric and is a great, affordable, way to see the beauty of the fabric before you purchase larger quantities.
Please note: All computer monitors display color differently. I have tried to get as close as possible to the true color of the fiber but please keep this in mind when placing your order.

Do you offer plastic free shipping? Yes! We ship with plastic free and/or 100% recycled packaging whenever possible. Please contact us if you would like to specifically request plastic packaging.
Do you cut yardage into pieces? No. We do NOT cut it into pieces unless you specifically request it. This means if you order more than one yard, you will receive one, long, continuous piece.
What shipping carrier do you use? We ship via the USPS. We are always happy to combine shipping when possible, and will refund shipping overages.
