You will receive 1/2 oz (14 grams) of Cultivated Bombyx Silk by Ashland Bay Fibers in natural. This fiber is excellent to incorporate into nuno felted, wet felted and needle felted projects. It can also be incorporated into handspan yarn for an additional texture.
"Cultivated Silk, also called Bombyx silk or mulberry silk, is produced from silk worms in captivity and feed only mulberry leaves. The silk is 10-13 microns and very white."
